Eating Disorders:

Unhealthy eating behaviors can co-occur in the context of depression and anxiety. Anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating disorder and depression and anxiety symptoms can perpetuate one another. For example, eating too much or eating too little may distract you from your feelings of emptiness; however, it may ultimately result in more social withdrawal and therefore more isolation and loneliness. Disordered eating habits is a term used for unhealthy eating behaviors and worries about body image. It is quite common. Some of the most common types of disordered eating are dieting and restrictive eating, over-eating or binge eating, or the abuse of laxatives. No matter how your depression and anxiety symptoms are expressed, I will help you explore your inner world and create awareness by providing compassionate guidance.
